W.F. Goodson

Military Graveside services for W.F. Goodson were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2015 at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Mike McNair officiating.
W.F. Goodson passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Hopkins House. He was born August 20, 2015 in Hopkins County to Wylie Ferrell and Libby Matthews Goodson. He married Opal McDainel. She preceded him in death in 1964. Mr. Goodson served in the U.S. army during WWII. He was a carpenter and a member of the VFW.
Survivors include: brother, George Goodson and wife Jerrie of Winfield; cousins, Delayne Dillard, and Valine Dillard of Sulphur Springs; sister-in-law Wanda Goodson; newphews Joe Goodson of Sulphur Springs, Warren Goodman of Brashear; and niece Alicia Giles of Sulphur Springs.
