Thomas Jenkins

Funeral Services for Thomas F. Jenkins, age 88 of Yantis will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Tapp Chapel. Interment will follow in the Colony Cemetery in Alba with Ashley Jenkins, Bobby Jenkins, Tommy Jenkins, Thomas Jenkins, Scott Masher and Richard Bearden serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 6 till 8 pm, Friday, October 24, 2014 at Tapp Funeral Home.
Thomas Franklin Jenkins passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Alba, TX on January 30, 1926 the son of Thomas Fred and Zonie Ozanie Biddenfield Jenkins. He married Lelia Dalton on August 29, 1980. She preceded him in death in 1995. He served in the United States Navy during Word War II.
Survivors include: sons, Billy Joe Jenkins of Yantis, Jimmy Lynn Jenkins and wife, Suzette of Sulphur Springs, Larry Thomas Jenkins of Yantis, and Johnny Mack Jenkins of Mexia; daughter, Linda Kay Jenkins of Winnsboro; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers and five sisters
