Peggy Ramey

A graveside service for Peggy Jo Ramey, age 92, of Sulphur Springs will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Bruce Welch officiating.  A visitation will be held at Tapp Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM, one hour prior to the service.

She was born on October 21, 1927 to Walter E. Myre and Era Brandon Myre in Dallas, TX.  She married William C. Ramey on January 8, 1948 in Sulphur Springs.  Mr. Ramey preceded her in death.  Mrs. Ramey was a secretary for Amoco Productions doing oil and gas leasing befor she retired.

Survivors include:  grandsons: Jared Ramey and wife, Chelsea of Sulphur Springs and Jordan Ramey of Cedar Park, TX.; great grandchildren: Kyler and Kam Ramey of Sulphur Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Era Myre; husband: William C. Ramey; son: Mark Ramey.
