Peggy Horton

A Memorial Service for Peggy L. Horton, 88, of Lone Oak, TX will be held at Tapp Funeral Home on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM. with Brother C.J. Duffy officiating. Inurnment will be later at Restlawn Memorial Park. Peggy passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at her home in Cumby.

She was born on January 23, 1932 the daughter of Sid Walker and Lois Barker Walker. Peggy married William Henry Horton on November 4, 1974 in
Athens, TX. Mr. Horton preceded her in death in 2010. She was a seamstress and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: sons: Donald Gene Bunch and wife, Debby of Cumby, Robert Ronald Bunch and wife, Sharon of Mesquite and James Richard Bunch and with, Beth, of Sulphur Springs; brother: Leland Walker and wife, Sue, of Sulphur Springs; sisters: Carolyn Stoval of Sulphur Springs and Shirley Barker of Sulphur Springs; sister-in-law: Betty Horton of Andrews, TX; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Sid and Lois Walker; husband: Bill Horton; brothers: Gerald D. Horton and Claude Lee Horton; son: Larry Lee Horton.
