Funeral services for Norman Dale Miller, age 70, of Como, have been scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday October 25, 2010 at Tapp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Cashion officiating and assisted by Richard Teer. Burial will follow in the Como Cemetery with Valton Teer, Leon Crawford, Bobby Wood, Jerry Cook, P.J. Ponder, Chad Sparkman, and Harlan Wiley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Stephen Eoff and the men's Sunday School class at Greenpond Baptist Church. A visitation will be held at Tapp Funeral Home Sunday October 24, 2010 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
Norman Dale Miller was born on October 25, 1939, in Como, the son of Jim Miller and Lynna Pearl Dickey Miller. He was a member of Greenpond Baptist Church. He was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. He was the owner and operator of a service station in Como.
Survivors include cousins, J.W. Sparkman, and wife Becky, of Clarksville, Linda Teer, and husband, Richard, of Como, David and Stephen Eoff, both of Conroe, Linda Margaret Olson, of Conroe, Melanie McClendon, of Conroe, Pam Reed, of Angleton, Emal Rodgers of Alto, Verdon Bice, of Alto; one aunt, Elba Hendley, of Angleton. The family expresses a special thanks to long time caretaker, M.L. Crawford.
Memorials may be made to the Como Cemetery.
