Nancy Ferrell

Funeral services for Nancy (Polly) Ferrell, age 86, will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 2:00PM at Posey Baptist Church with Brother Jim Moore and Brother Andy Wright officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Lanny Ferrell, Jeff Timko, Pete Wyatt, Cody Williams, Cory Ferrell and Kaden Ferrell and the great grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Posey Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday evening, August 4, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Tapp Funeral Home.
Nancy “Polly” Ferrell was born on September 27, 1932, in Oakland Community in Hopkins County, the daughter of Martin Luther Riley and Nellie Thurman Riley. She was married to Lee Ray Ferrell, who preceded her in death in 2016. Ms. Ferrell worked as custodian for the North Hopkins School, she was also a Dairy Farmer and a homemaker and a member of the Posey Baptist Church. Polly Ferrell passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab.
Survivors include: sons: Charles Ferrell and wife, Deborah, Stevie Ferrell and wife Sherri and Jackey Ferrell and wife, Vicki all of Sulphur Springs; daughters: Rose Mary Fielden and husband, Richard of Sulphur Bluff and Patty Williams and husband, Danny of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren: Lori Timko, Lanny Ferrell, Melissa Wyatt, Cody Williams, Stacy Williams, Bridget Albert, Cory Ferrell, Kortni Ferrell and Kaden Ferrell: sisters: Connie Colbert and husband Bobby and Scottie Riley; brother: Leroy Riley and wife, Shirley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Nellie Riley; husband, Ray Ferrell; son: Rickey Ferrell; brother: Marvin Riley; sister: Elsie France.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Posey Cemetery Association % Johnny Ferrell, 6761 CR 4760, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482 or Posey Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held at Tapp Funeral Home on Sunday evening, August 4, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
