Murrell Sapaugh

Funeral services for Murrell Melson Sapaugh, age 74, of Sulphur Springs have been scheduled for Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 2:00pm in the Tapp Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. B. J. Teer will officiate. Interment will be in the Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. No formal visitation has been scheduled.

Murrell Melson Sapaugh was born on August 1, 1936 in Mare Island, CA., the daughter of Bruce R. Melson and Rubye Murrell Melson. She married Billy Dan Sapaugh in Hugo, OK on July 3, 1952. He preceded her in death. She worked in sales and was of the Methodist faith. She passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include sons, Scott Sapaugh, and wife, Mary, Steve Sapaugh, and wife, Becky, Tony Sapaugh, and wife, Belinda, all of Houston, Chris Sapaugh, and wife, Betty, of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Travis Sapaugh, Samantha Sapaugh, Stephanie Sapaugh, Josh Hargrave, Shelby Sapaugh, Sadie Sapaugh, Sarah Sapaugh, Lucas Sapaugh, Katie Sapaugh; sister in law, Judy Grayson, and husband, Ricky, of Paris. She was preceded in death by her parents.
