Maxine Crisp Osburn b. March 10, 1927, d. August 31, 2016

Maxine Osburn was born on a farm in Hopkins County, TX. She lived her early years on the farm with her parents, Mary Jane and Jeff Crisp. She attended high school in Commerce, Texas and attended college at TWU in Denton, Texas. She joined Chapel Hill UMC in 1962, where she was an active and faithful member. She was also a retired member of the Civic League of Farmers Branch and a life member of the PTA. She loved her church, her friends, and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Roland Osburn. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Neal) Bailey, grandson Byron (Beth) Bailey, granddaughter, Kristin (Tim) Urness, and five great grandchildren: Sarah, Phillip, Matthew, Alexa and Ella. A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 4 at 3:30 pm at the Sulphur Springs City Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. She requested that any memorials be sent to Chapel Hill UMC, Farmers Branch.
