Funeral Services for Margaret Harris Sparks Ramey, age 95 of Plano, formerly of Sulphur Springs will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, December 19, 2014 at Tapp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Lewis and Rev. Charles Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 6 till 8 pm, Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Tapp Funeral Home.
Margaret Harris Sparks Ramey passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Brookdale Nursing Home in Plano. She was born in Sulphur Bluff, TX on June 3, 1919 the daughter of Charlie and Lizzie Blount Harris. She married Wilson Sparks in May 1939. He preceded her in death in October, 1966. She married Joe Ramey in 1968. He preceded her in death in June, 2002. She was a homemaker, a member of Golden K Kiwanis Club of Sulphur Springs and First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs.
She is survived by: son, Wilson Sparks, Jr. and wife, Kay of Plano; sisters, Mildred Pike of Grand Prairie and Geraldine Baker of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Brad Sparks and April Rennels; great grandchildren, Heather Sparks and Tyler Sparks; great-great grandchildren, Ashlynn Rennels, Kaitlynn Rennels and K.C. Sparks; great-great-great grandson, Ryder Sparks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, brother and eight sisters.
