Larry Haygood

Funeral Services for Larry Leon Haygood, age 69, of Sulphur Springs, will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Tapp Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sherley Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Lance Haygood, Kameron Wallace, Brian Pope, Nigel Beech, Jeff Haygood and Jacob Haygood. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Tapp Funeral Home. Mr. Haygood passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at his home in Sulphur Springs.
Larry was born on October 1, 1949 in Dallas to George William Haygood and Lois Virginia Jett Haygood. He worked for the City of Dallas and was of the Roman Catholic faith. He married Madeliene Lecompte on November 30, 1967 in Canada.
Mr. Haygood is survived by his wife: Madeliene Haygood of Sulphur Springs; daughters: Brenda Haygood (Wally Asher) and Melissa Wallace (Dennis); grandchildren: Heather Pope, Kamron Wallace, April Beech, Rebeca Wallace and Lance Haygood; great grandchildren: Bradley Beech and Robert Beech; brother: Ricky Haygood (Beverly); sister: Cindy Dearing (Charles).
He is preceded in death by his parents: George Haygood, Lois and Mary.
