Kathleen Taylor

Funeral services for Kathleen Taylor, age 86, of Yantis, have been scheduled for 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Yantis Baptist Church with Bro. David Bagwell officiating. Interment will follow at the Yantis Cemetery with the Yantis Men's Sunday school class serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Tapp Funeral Home from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Kathleen Taylor was born on December 3, 1926, in Yantis, the daughter of Thomas Raymond and Opal Mae (Willingham) McKee. She married Ralph G. Taylor on June 3, 1948 in Dallas. Mrs. Taylor was a pastor's secretary at the Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston, TX, and later she was a Sr. Ladies Sunday school teacher at the Yantis Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at ETMC in Tyler.
Survivors include: sons, Thomas G. Taylor, of Gorman, Greg Taylor, and wife, Mary of Hutto ; grandchildren, Christi Jo Taylor and Daryl Taylor; and great-grandchild, Dylan Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband.
