Juanita Parker

Funeral Services for Juanita Parker, age 89 of Garland will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Tapp Funeral Home with Andy Comer officating. Interment will follow at Conner Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Juanita passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 in Dallas. She was born June 21, 1925 in Arkansas City, KS the daughter of Cedrick and Olive (Childs) Jones. She married Meddard Parker on February 2, 1944 in Arkansas City, KS. He preceded her in death in 1982.

Survivors include: sons, Eddie Ray Parker of Burleson, Darrell M. Parker of Garland; grandchildren, Jessica Scarberry, Jeremy Parker and Kyle Parker; great-grandchildren, Christian Moss, Parker Moss, Lathan Scarberry, Hazel Lilly Parker.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and one sister.
