Juanita Johnson

Funeral services for Juanita Marie Johnson, age 89, of Sulphur Springs, have been scheduled for 2:00pm Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the Tapp Funeral Home Chapel with Justin Wilson officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Kameron McGary, Dakota Johnson, Kyler Runyan, Michael Merton, Donny McGary and Jacob McGary. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Tapp Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson passed away at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler on Sunday, February 12, 2017.
Juanita Johnson was born on January 30, 1928, in Kemp, TX, the daughter of Marion Odell and Jessie Belle Barnhart Pruiett. She married Wilbon R. Johnson who preceded her in death. She was retired from Walmart and a member of the Central Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs.
Survivors include daughter, Tammy McGary and husband, Lonny of Sulphur Springs; two sons, Wilbon A. Johnson and wife Shannon and Dakota Johnson; grandchildren, Amber Freeman, Courtni McGary, Christopher McGary and Kameron McGary; thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbon Johnson; parents, Marion and Jessie Pruiett; brother, Joe Pruiett.
