Funeral services for Jerry Hay, age 52, of Sulphur Springs, have been scheduled for Thursday September 23, 2010 at 11:00am at the Tapp Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Henry officiating. Interment will follow in the North Hopkins Cemetery with Nolen Sanderson, B. J. Maynard, Edward Beaver, Clifford Skeen, Marvin Levassar, and T. J. Paperka serving as pallbearers. Ron Smiddy and Raymond Huffstetler will serve as honorary pallbearers. A visitation will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am Thursday, September 23, 2010 prior to the service.
Jerry Edward Hay was born December 19, 1957 in Dallas, Texas, the son of Glenn and Delana McDaniel Hay. He passed away Monday, September 20, 2010 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.
Survivors include: Parents, Glenn and Delana Hay, of Birthright; sister, Deanna Misch, and husband, David, of Birthright; son, Jerry Lee Hay, of Arizona; daughter, Jessica Hay, of Birthright; grandson, Nathan Laine Howard Hay, of Birthright; fiancé, Pam Williams, of Sulphur Springs; nephew, Randy Wilson, of Sulphur Springs; uncle, Chester Brown, of Farmers Branch; step-sons, Jacob and Thomas Alexander; great nieces, Savannaha Wilson, Mackenzie Wilson, Alexis Wilson, Skylaar Wilson, Kierstan McDonald.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and two daughters, Barbara Jean Louise Hay and Christian Dianna Rene Dawdy.
