Iris Morgan

Graveside services for Frances Morgan, age 92, of Sulphur Springs have been set for 1:00 PM, Monday, November 21, 2011 at Forest Academy Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Rodgers officiating. A visitation will be held at Tapp Funeral Home from 11:00AM to 12:00PM on Monday, November 21, 2011 prior to the service.

Iris Frances Brewer was born in Gregg County on February 28, 1919, the daughter of Dillon and Sallie E. Humphries Brewer. She married Lawrence Morgan who preceded her in death in 1986. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Morgan passed away November 18, 2011 at Rock Creek Nursing Home.

Survivors include son, Derrell Lynn Morgan, of Sulphur Springs; nephew, David Brewer, and wife, Pam, of Forney; great nephew, Ben Brewer, and wife, Kristen of Lancaster PA; great niece, Natalie Moyer, and husband, Paul, of Dallas, whom she loved as grandchildren. Special thanks to beloved friends Peggy Dial, Wilma Brice and Eva Phillips for their special attention and loving care over the last few years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Tom Brewer.
