Frank Anderson

Funeral services for Frank J. Anderson, age 101, of Sulphur Springs have been scheduled for 1:00pm Monday, October 18, 2010 at the New Zion CME church in Cooper with Rev. Jaggers officiating and assisted by Rev. Wesley Garry and Rev. Scott. Interment will follow in the Kondike cemetery. A visitation will be held Sunday evening, October 17, 2010 at Tapp Funeral Home from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

Frank J. Anderson was born in Klondike, Texas on October 24, 1908, the son of Hart and Beulah Anderson. He married Lettie M. Blandon. She preceded him in death in 1993. He was a farmer and a Mason. He served his country in the Army. Mr. Anderson passed away October 13, 2010 in Sulphur Springs.

Survivors include, granddaughter, Carolyn Berry, of Sulphur Springs; grandson, Jerry Walker, of Portland, OR; great-grandson, Teiko Walker, of Las Vegas, NV; great-granddaughters, April Walker, of California, April Moran, of Arlington, Rachandra Berry, of Sulphur Springs; great-great-granddaughters, Alyssa Thomas, Tamera Moran, both of Arlington; great-great-grandson, Bret Walker, of Portland, OR; great-great-great granddaughters, Amira Walker, of Las Vegas, NV, Amaira Thomas, of Sulphur Springs, Christene Walker, of California; great-great-great-grandsons, Quincy Walker, of Las Vegas, NV, Christopher Walker, of California, Amare Thomas, of Sulphur Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Shannon Anderson, one daughter, Zephyr Walker, one great-grandson, Alan Walker.
