Emma Koger

A Graveside service for Emma Jean Koger, age 98, will be held at Reilly Springs Cemetery on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 1:00PM. Officiating will be Buddy Wiggins.  Mrs. Koger passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, TX.

She was born the daughter of Bee Williams and Adele Mackechney Williams in Reilly Springs, TX on April 14, 1923.  Jean married Roy Koger in Hopkins County Texas on May 30, 1943.  He preceded her in death.  Mrs. Koger worked as a bookkeeper for JC Penny until she retired and she was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include: sons: Mike Koger and wife Glenda, Steve Koger, Tim Koger and wife Denise; daughter: Carolyn Sears and husband Glenn; seven grandchildren; multiple great grandchildren; sister: Nell Furney; multiple nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Bee and Adele Williams; husband of fifty plus years: Roy Koger; daughter: Cheryl; two brothers; one sister.
