Funeral services for Ella Lee Wesson Dyce, age 88, formerly of Hopkins County have been scheduled for Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 2:00PM in the Tapp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cleatus Speed officiating. Interment will follow in the Arbala Cemetery with Robert Kimbrell, G. W. Bain, Dale Barker, Ronald Barker, Ryan Clarke, and David Barker serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Tim Barker and Garrett Barker. A visitation has been scheduled for Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Tapp Funeral Home.

Ella Lee Wesson was born in Arbala, on September 23, 1923, the daughter of William H. and Ruby Dimple Frazier Wesson. She married Samuel Eugene (Gene) Dyce in Dallas on November 3, 1962. He preceded her in death in July 2006. She was an electronics assembler for Recognition Equipment and was of the Baptist faith. She passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in Dallas.

Survivors include son, Delbert Speed, and wife, Joyce, of Dallas; sisters, Lois Dyce, of Sulphur Springs, Tomsyne Nowlin, of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Dale Barker, and wife, Kay, of Cedar Hill, Tim Barker, and wife, Robin, of Mansfield, Laura Clarke, of Midlothian, Ronald Barker, of Midlothian; great grandchildren, David Barker, and wife, Rachael, of Arlington, Ryan Clarke, of Rockwall, Hayley Clarke, of Midlothian, Kendall Barker, of Mansfield, Garrett Barker, of College Station; great-great grandchild, Summer Barker, of Arlington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Raymond Wesson, Bill Wesson, Buford Wesson and several half brothers; sisters, Margie Lucero, Pauline Wesson and several half sisters.
