Edith Passons

Graveside services for Edith M. Passons, age 85, of Sulphur Springs, have been scheduled for Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 1:00pm at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Rev. Gifford Long officiating. Pallbearers include, Morgan Anderson, David Michael Penson, Andrew Passons, and Ross Woodley. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 11:00am to 12:30 pm at Tapp Funeral Home.

Edith M. Passons was born on December 4, 1925, the daughter of Virgil V. Foster and Pirl Tidwell Foster in Bowie County, Texas. She married E. T. Passons on April 18, 1946 in Rockwall, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1994. Mrs. Passons was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sulphur Springs. Mrs. Passons passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at her residence.

Survivors include daughter, Patty Bell, of Sulphur Springs; son, Mike Passons, of Frisco; brother, Bobby Ray Foster, of California; grandchildren, David Michael Penson, Brandi Kaye Bell, Andrew J. Passons, Christina Passons Woodley; four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
