Dorothy Thompson

Funeral services for Dorothy Sanders Thompson, age 86 of Sulphur Springs will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 2, 2012 at South Liberty Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Arbala Cemetery with Bryan McAlister, Jeff Sexton, David Johnston, Rob James and Chris Robinson serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.
Dorothy Sanders Thompson passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Norman, AR on January 31, 1926 the daughter of Granville and Suzanna Lee Wehunt Petty. She married Algie Lee Sanders on January 27, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1991. She married Edgar H. Thompson on April 19, 1993. He preceded her in death in 2009. She was a member of the South Liberty Baptist Church and Sulphur Springs Rebecca Lodge.
Survivors include: daughters, Sandra Drayton of Sulphur Springs, and Annette McAlister and husband Bryan of Sulphur Springs; sister, Clara Tennison of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, James Morgan, Heather Rubid, Jordan Drayton, Tani & Rob James, Whitney & Chris Robinson; great grandchildren, Jacob Morgan, Abigail Morgan, Matthon Morgan and Trinity Morgan.
She was preceded in death by parents, two husbands, and grandson, Jason Wayne Morgan.
