David Crum

A Celebration of Life service for David Albert "Buck" Crum, Sr., age 70, of Yantis, have been scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Arbala Community Center at 1:00 PM. Mr. Crum passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 in Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. No formal visitation is scheduled.


David Albert Crum was born on October 20, 1940, in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania, the son of Bert Madison and Olive Richardson Crum. He married Shirlene Kennimer in Galveston on September 13, 1963. She survives. He was a transport driver and served in the U. S. Navy.


Survivors include son, David Albert Crum, Jr., and wife, Christy, of Mineola; daughters, Sharon Chamness, of Sulphur Springs, Mickie Holcomb, of Weatherford, Cathy Sims, and husband, Mike, of Chandler, Anita Gross, and husband, Bobby, of Yantis, Brandy Joiner, and husband, Patrick, of Winnsboro, Cindy Smith, and husband, David, of Arlington; sisters, Elizabeth Elaine Kimball and Sandra Daerr, and husband, Ray, both of Pennsylvania; fifteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ethel Crum.
