Clarine Lewis

Funeral services for Clarine Delois Spigner Lewis, age 57, of Pickton, have been set for 11:00am Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Morning Chapel Church with Rev. Harold B. Nash officiating. Burial will follow in the Caney Cemetery in Pickton with Garret Spigner, Kwaesi Palmer, Ryna Harrison, Michael Kendrick, Michael Edwards, and Herschon Lewis serving as pallbearers. Lester Davis, Randy O. Pryor, Jacob Lewis, Allen Lewis, Frank Jimmerson, Frankie Hawkins, and Jimmy Davis will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive guests Wednesday evening at Tapp Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Clarine Delois Spigner was born in Hopkins County, Texas on June 6, 1953 the daughter of Claduis Spigner and Florence Esters. She married Bobby Lewis in Sulphur Springs on March 22, 1974. He survives. She was a member of St. Mark Baptist Church. She passed away on August 13, 2010 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include sons, Scotty Lewis, and wife, Sonya, of Mesquite and Damione Lewis, and wife, Silvana, of Boston Mass.; grandchildren, DeLanderia Pryor, Andre Smith, Scotty Lewis, Serenity Lewis, Skyler Lewis, Soraya Lewis, and Damione Emmanuel Lewis; step-son, Rodrick Moore, step-daughter, Kisha Moore; step grandchildren, Rodrick, Ashton, Makalla and Tracy Brooks; brothers, James Spigner, Eddie Spigner, Cladus Spigner and Tony Joe Spigner; sisters, Elizabeth Ann Ward, Margie Spigner, and Linda Kendrick.
