Billy Williamson

A private service for Billy Williamson, age 86, of Clarksville will be held at a later date. No visitation has been scheduled.
Mr. Williamson passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Titus Regional Medical Center in Mt Pleasant. He was born in Dike on August 5, 1931 the son of Radford Turner Williamson and Hattie Ruth McFadden Williamson. He married Alene Hall on August 17, 1949 in Mesquite. She preceded him in death in 1999. He was retired, but had worked as a barber, in construction and was a dairyman during his life. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean war and served on LST975 Marion County.
Survivors include: sons, Doug Williamson of Bedford and Terry Williamson of Texarkana; grandson, Brandon Peek and wife, Katie of Gilmer; great grandchildren, Bronx and Kenzie; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Radford and Hattie Williamson; his wife, Alene Williamson; four brothers and two sisters.
