Bessie Pearl Griffith

Bessie Griffith was born to Robert Wilson and Vivien Lelia (Kerns) Adams on May 29, 1934, in Hatchetville, Texas. Once done with school, Bessie went on to work as a information operator in Dallas, Texas. She was known for being full of life and loved engaging with people. She enjoyed spending time sewing, and crocheting. Described by her children she was tough as nails. Bessie was also a great homemaker. 

 

Bessie is survived by her daughter, Norma Welch of Blossom, TX; as well as her sons, Danny Turner and wife Sheri of Tavares Fl and Tommy Griffith of Indiana; Grandchildren, Ray Wear Jr. , Danny Turner Jr. , Curtis Wear,  Renee Pelton, Rhonda Sue Turner, Thomas Griffith, Amy Watson, Preston Mentzel; fifteen great-grandchildren, and fifteen great-great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her five brothers; Robert L. Adams, Ronnie Adams, Don Adams, RL Adams, and CL Adams, and grandson Gary Lee Turner.
