Arnold Harper

Funeral Services for Arnold Harper, age 63, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 1:00 Monday, January 19, 2015 at Independence Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Independence Cemetery with Mr. Harper's nephews serving as pallbearers. There is no formal visitation.
Arnold Harper passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at Carriage House Manor Nursing Home. He was born October 10, 1951 to Olivee "Hogan" Harper and Bennie Mae (Harris) Harper in Hopkins County. Mr. Harper was a Dairyman and worked in highway construction.
Mr. Harper is survived by: brothers, Lyndoll Harper and wife, Bobbie of Dallas, Charles Harper and wife, Debra of Ft. Worth, Glen Harper and wife, Sheila or Como, and Howard Harper and wife, Carla of Sulphur Springs; sisters, Joyce Sharper and husband, Clyde of Dallas, Mary Stribling of Como, and LouAnn Wright and husband, Walter of Winnsboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roy and Eugene Harper.
